Year Round Functions Include:

• Card mailings to the sick and bereaved.
• Delivery baskets to sick and shut in.​
• Visiting church members who are in nursing homes, sick at home, hospitalized and bereaved families.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Women's Auxiliary is to provide aid and comfort to those in need. They are tasked with visiting the sick at home, the hospitals, the nursing homes, the bereaved and also providing outreach to the greater community. Their ministry is a blessing to others not only within the church walls, but outside the church as well.

​The Women's Auxiliary have blessed many organizations throughout our local communities. They promote a spirit of giving, friendliness and compassion beyond the church doorsteps!

Gate Pregnancy Resource  Center	Baby Bottle Campaign Fundraiser Raised $1,219.55 in donations
Homeless Veterans "Ongoing"	Sleeping mats for Homeless Veterans. This project will continue through to the end of the year. Please continue to bring your bags.
Opportunity House	Serving meals
Church of God Children's Home	Served lunch to residents (July 2017)
Cabarrus County Meals on Wheels	Delivery of meals to recipients
Holiday Cookie Trays	Delivery of trays to 1st Responders, Local Police and County Sherriff
Tucker Hospice House "Ongoing"	Donating snacks, toiletries and household items.
Sewing dresses for Haiti	Dresses were sent to girls in Haiti
Homeless Toiletry and Snack Bags	Bags were prepared and personally delivered to homeless men and women.
Pack The Purse "Ongoing"	Purses will be forwarded to the United Way where they will be packed with essential care items (baby lotion, wipes, baby shampoo, washcloth, soap, etc.)

Annual Women's Retreats are sponsored once a year by the United Missionary Baptist Association. These retreats are held for women to get away from the usual distractions and get saturated in the Lord's presence with teaching, preaching, praise and fellowship.
