WHAT WE OFFER
The Purpose of the Youth Ministry at Macedonia is to work with the youth ages 0-20. We teach, plan, and organize the youth activities of the church. Our youth ministry is focused on worshiping God, making new friends and finding ways to serve God by helping others while having fun in the process. Through growth opportunities and service work we strive to raise up future leaders within our church.
MINISTRY

Children's Church
Children's church ages 5 - 12yrs old  gives our youth an opportunity to learn about the love of God. Thus teaching them biblical and encourages them to pursue God wholeheartedly in their life. Children's Church also helps them navigate their own experiences in their daily lives.

Teen Church
Teen Church is for ages 13 and up. Today teenagers face more and more issues as it relates to social media, emotional health, peer pressure and bullying. We desire to help spiritually train and equip teens in a fun Godly atmosphere to the Glory of God.

Church Nursery Services
Need a break? Look no further than our Church Nursery. We have dedicated staff ready to serve our littlest churchgoers from ages 0-5. We have many toys, books and many children's bible stories. Snacks and drinks are also provided as well.

TREACH

Youth Sundays
Youth Sundays are held every 5th Sunday. The children actively take part, leading church services. They enjoy taking an active part in services.

Quarterly Youth Meetings
Youth meetings occur 4 times a year. We encourage ALL MMBC youth to attend. These meeting give updates on activities and programs involving youth throughout the year. We look forward to and encourage input from our youth regarding various activities involving them.

Community Service Projects
We want to teach our youth the importance of giving back. Each year our youth participate in the Post Office Food Drive. We are also looking into other ways of giving back as well.

Fundraisers
This gives our youth the ability to invest themselves in the fundraising process further developing emotional connections that can lead to long-term support.

SPECIAL EVENTS & HOLIDAYS

Black History Programs
Each year we celebrate Black History. We take pride in celebrating the accomplishments of those who paved the way. In February we hold a Program to celebrate the past, present and future. The children take an active part in this as well.

Easter Egg Hunt
We host an annual Egg Hunt each year. Lunch is served afterwards and prizes awarded to the highest egg winner. We were also blessed to have a video game truck for the kids as well. Snack sacks are given out with additional candies and treats.

Easter Speeches, Easter Parade and Play
The children take pride in reciting their Easter Speeches from youngest to oldest. A play usually follows service as well.

Trunk or Treat
Don't wanna trick or treat? No problem! We have you covered. We host an annual Trunk or Treat each year with cars fully decorated and a prize awarded to the most creative. Afterwards we celebrate with a cake walk and food. The children are also given take home candy treat bags as well.

Back To School Sunday
We provide our youth with various school supplies to help them with a great start. We encourage them to bring their backpacks to church to be prayed for and a successful school year.

Annual Christmas Party & Sleepover
We enjoy fun and fellowship with an annual Christmas party. We also host our annual youth sleepover.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a simple way to get children involved in church, and it gives you the chance to meet people inside the church, as well. Church membership isn’t required to be involved and it is a more casual atmosphere. Vacation Bible School lasts around 5 weekdays within the summer.
